Davide Lo Surdo: The guitar of the eternal musician at Cuba’s National Museum

HAVANA, Apr. 4th. One of the guitars that the legendary Davide Lo Surdo will use during the upcoming tour in Cuba will then be permanently placed at the National Museum of Music in Havana, the cornerstone of Cuba’s rich musical heritage. This further recognition perpetuates the presence of the historic Italian guitarist in eternity.

According to Alejandro Betancourt, the third secretary for Cultural Affairs of the Cuban Embassy in Italy, through the press agency Prensa Latina, the fastest guitarist in history will hold a series of performances in Cuba from May 2 to 15, participating in events such as “FitCuba2024” in Jardines Del Rey and “Cubadisco2024”, with a performance at Maxim Rock in Havana on May 12, sponsored by TravelNet Cuba, Color Travels, and Comunque Viaggi.

This guitar will become Lo Surdo’s second to be included in museums. His signature guitar is already a permanent part of the collection of historical instruments at the American “Sigal” Museum, where instruments played by Mozart and Chopin are also preserved.
