Italian Artisanal Ice Cream Course train technicians and entrepreneurs in Havana

HAVANA, May 22 The headquarters of La Moneda Cubana (LMC), in Old Havana,  hosting a specialized course in Italian Artisanal Ice Cream on May 20.which will train technicians and entrepreneurs in the gastronomy and cuisine of Cuba and Central America.

This course, which is promotional in nature, is focused on preparing young people from La Moneda Cubana and other professionals interested in learning here, including foreign visitors, Carpigiani Gelato University instructor Luca Cappelletti told the Cuban News Agency (ACN). of the academic center that collaborates with the project.

Later, they will open the first professional Ice Cream Course, which is scheduled to begin on August 26. Registration is open at the headquarters of La Moneda Cubana in San Ignacio, between Tejadillo and Chacón.

The private MSME PMS SRL (Production, Service and Industrial Equipment) is in charge of installing modern machinery, inputs and raw materials from Italian firms as a study material base, in addition to guaranteeing the sustainability and success of the courses, he assured the ACN its general manager, Mario León.

La Moneda Cubana is a Local Development Project that teaches workshops related to the world of Cooking, Gastronomy, and Canteens, aimed primarily at unconnected young people.

In its more than ten years, more than two thousand graduates as University Technicians in Cooking and Gastronomy. Of them, many work in hotel or non-hotel facilities, or have started their businesses in Cuba, adds the ACN report.
