Actors and influencers celebrated the launch of a new Cuban beer
HAVANA, July 21. The new Cuban beer Parranda has successfully entered the insular market after being marketed a few weeks ago in MLC stores. But the drink produced in the Mariel Special Development Zone had not yet been officially launched.
The place chosen by the new brand was the Yarini Habana bar and for this they organized a party to which actors, television presenters and influencers from the Island were invited, who, without thinking twice, took the opportunity to take abundant photos and videos for their social networks and thus promote the refreshing elixir.
The well-known soap opera performer Alejandro Cuervo assumed the role of host of the evening held in the famous space located in the San Isidro neighborhood and owned by the also award-winning actor Jorge Perugorría.
In one of the special moments of the night, Sophie Jacobs, a member of the Parranda marketing team, commented to all the guests on the qualities of this beer that they hope will establish itself as the preference of Cubans for a long time.
To position it in the local market, the factory that produces it has a capacity of 1.5 million hectoliters, which is equivalent to 800,000 bottles a day that will be available through various sales channels, according to what the executive told the party guests.
Another novelty of the Cuban-Spanish mixed capital company is the ecological concept that it manages, something that has practically never been seen in Cuba. In this sense, customers will be able to return the bottles to a recycling center through a QR code and in exchange, they will receive 0.10 cents in MLC for each container they deliver.
For the moment, its commercialization has been presented in PET format of 500 and 1500 milliliter plastic bottles, an initiative that has also been very well received by the population, and which considers the company created by Cuba Ron and Swinkels Family Brewers Spain S.L., a Spanish subsidiary of the Swinkels Family Brewers group, as its hallmark.
