Skepta & Havana Club To Launch Collaboration

HAVANA, Aug. 4th After collaborating last year, the legend Skepta and rum brand Havana Club have teamed up once again on another exclusive collaboration.

Inspired by Skepta’s chieftaincy and the paths to greatness, this collaboration sees Skepta design his second limited-edition Havana Club 7 bottle to celebrate his Nigerian roots; exploring the creative connections between Yoruba culture and Afro-Cuban spirit.

The launch of the limited bottle has also been accompanied by a short film following Skepta as he journeys from London to Nigeria where he delves into his Yoruba roots, continuing the theme of discovery first explored in last summer’s collab.

“This Havana Club 7 bottle honours my roots,” Skepta said of the collab. “It traces the migration of Yoruba culture from Africa to Cuba and back again.

“Inspired by the region of my chieftainship in Ogun State Nigeria, it celebrates inner strength and the journeys that make us great.”
