Regla ferry resumes transportation in Havana Bay
HAVANA, Nov 13. After the reconstruction of the access bridge to the vessel, the passenger transportation boat resumed service on the maritime sectionfrom the municipality of Regla to Muelle Luz, in Old Havana, and vice versa.
The process of monolithic construction of the piece, transportation by sea and assembly of the walkway took several days and was complex because many tasks were carried out in the water, explained specialists from the Granma Military Industrial Company, which was in charge of the task. , along with other entities.
Likewise, the areas surrounding the facility were improved, with the paving of hallways and the repair of perimeter security fences, among other collateral actions.
In less than 10 minutes, the boat transports 100 passengers from Regla to Muelle Luz, which is a significant relief by alleviating the passenger transportation deficit in the capital.
