HAVANA, February 13 (PRNewswire) Havana is hosting the XXII Habanos Festival, the largest international event for fans of the best tobacco in the world, Habanos, which will take place from February 24 to February 28. from all over the world will attend the event, with the brands Bolívar, Montecristo and Romeo y Julieta in the spotlight.

Participants from over 60 countries will benefit from a full program of activities designed to explore aspects of Habanos culture: tours of the plantations in the Partido *, San Antonio de Los Baños *, Artemisa, and visits to the factories of La Corona and Partagás to learn more about the production process of Habanos throughout its value chain.
The Trade Fair and, in particular, the Welcome Evening, will open the XXII Habanos Festival. The Trade Fair is the meeting and exchange point for tobacco industry professionals from around the world and the Welcome Evening, to be held at Club Habana will pay tribute to the Bolívar brand with the presentation of Bolívar Reserva Cosecha 2016.
The program will also include practical sessions and keynote addresses given by renowned experts from the world of Habanos, gathered during the International Seminar, which will open on Wednesday 26 February. The XXII edition of the Habanos Festival will organize, for the third consecutive year, the Habanos World Challenge.
The evening dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Casa del Habano and the 85th anniversary of the Montecristo brand will take place on Wednesday in the reception hall of El Laguito, on February 26, with a dinner for 550 guests prepared for the enjoyment of cigar lovers the most prestigious high-end products in the world.
On February 28, the gala evening dedicated to the Romeo y Julieta brand will be the Festival’s grand finale. This evening, full of surprises, will end with the Habanos Awards and the traditional humidors auction, all of whose profits will be donated to the Cuban public health system.
