He specified that he already sells some of his watches, acquired by foreign diplomats who work on this island, like Sir. George Hollingbery (United Kingdom), and Gonzalo Flavio Guillén Beker (Peru) – the latter has a special interest in products that can be adorned with drawings and figures from the Nazca culture.

Barrios mentioned a meeting for World Entrepreneurship Day, held on April 16 with the presence of Hollingbery, who commented that every day is a reason to honor and accompany the enthusiastic, resilient and brave Cuban entrepreneurs.

At that meeting, some mirror watches with characters from the popular novel The Lord of the Rings, an epic fantasy written by the British philologist and writer J. R. R. Tolkien, and the Tic Tac crocodile, a character from Walt Disney’s Peter Pan movie, were also presented.

Barrios delivered to the authorities of the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur) 130 models destined for the International Tourism Fair (FitCuba 2024), with sessions from May 1 to 5 in Jardines del Rey (center-north).

Since 2021, his company has been producing 100% renewable materials, as it uses raw materials, parts and pieces of other equipment that have been despised or put into liquidation by companies such as the Cimex Corporation and the Caribe Store Chain (TRD), both wind-up or analog as well as batteries.

Tiempo de Luz has a contract with Empresa Comercial Caracol S.A. (chain of stores specializing in cigars, rum, coffee and souvenirs) for the production and marketing of these watches in hotels and stores.
