InterCaribbean Resumes Providenciales to Havana flights

HAVANA, May 7th This week it has been announced that interCaribbean Airways has resumed their Providenciales to Havana scheduled services. The carrier is utilizing its Embraer ERJ-145LR (Long Range) aircraft on the route, of which they currently have three of the type.

interCaribbean Airways flight JY314 will depart Providenciales International Airport (PLS) at 16.35 p.m. local time and arrive at Havana Jose Marti International Airport (HAV) at 18.45 p.m. local time. The aircraft will then night-stop before returning to Providenciales the following day.

The return flight, JY315 will depart Havana Jose Marti International Airport (HAV) at 08.55 a.m. local time and arrive back at Providenciales International Airport (PLS) at 10.45 a.m. local time.

The resumed service will be operated on a twice-weekly basis as follows; flight JY314 will be operated on Mondays and Fridays with flight JY315 being operated on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Alongside their three Embraer ERJ-145LRs, interCaribbean Airways also operates a fleet of 10 Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia’s, one ATR42-500 with a further two due soon and one ATR 72-500 that they recently took delivery of back in February 2023.

Their Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia’s all have a seating configuration of 30 economy class seats which the carrier primarily focuses on routes from their home base in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, as well as Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport (EIS) in the British Virgin Islands and Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI) that serves the city of Bridgetown in Barbados.
