Hurricane Idalia caused several damages in western Cuba

HAVANA, Aug 29 Hurricane Idalia today caused multiple damages in western Cuban territories, where the showers, rains and electrical storms associated with the organism continue. In the province of Pinar del Río, there are reports of damage to the electrical system, intense rainfall, penetration of the sea, falling trees, and more than 800 people have been evacuated, according to the online version of the newspaper Granma.

The head of the National Civil Defense General Staff, Division General Ramón Pardo, arrived at that demarcation, who visited the evacuation center in the municipality of Sandino and spoke with the 63 families protected there.
