DÍAZ-CANEL URGES CUBA BUSINESSES TO SEEK ALLIANCES

HAVANA, April 26 (RHC) Díaz-Canel the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and president of the Republic,  urged representatives of the country’s investment sector to seek alliances with nations of Latin America and the Caribbean to make cooperative productions.

During a meeting with executives of companies that carry out important investment processes, the head of state learned about his experiences and stressed that the important thing is to keep the factories producing.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Prime Minister and head of Economy and Planning, Alejandro Gil called to increase investments and do it well, since financing for these processes that do not have a guarantee of sustainability over time of their inputs and raw materials can ruin the agreement made.

Gil urged investments and investors to prepare well, comply with the execution schedules and “put the industries to produce once the investment is completed because the generation of goods for national consumption or export depends on it and with it the development of the country”.

Several state businessmen shared in the meeting the state of investments in their institutions, as well as their strengths and weaknesses in this area.
