HAVANA, Oct. 14th Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, accompanied by the Minister of Tourism, Manuel Marrero, inaugurated on Saturday the Iberostar Grand Packard luxury hotel on the Paseo del Prado, which overlooks the Malecon in Havana and is designed for “high standard” tourists , according to local media.

Although Iberostar has been present in Cuba since 1993 and currently operates 27 hotels on the island with 7,881 rooms, the Grand Packard is the jewel in the crown of the company and leader in “exclusivity” on the island.
