HAVANA, June 10   Three Cuban higher education centers are today ranked among the 1,300 most prestigious in the world,

according to the latest QS World University Rankings by the British company Quacquarelli Symonds).

The best-located study house is the University of Havana (UH), which occupies the range 501-510, points out the Cubadebate web portal.

It is followed by the Marta Abreu de las Villas University (UCLV), in the center of the country, located at numbers 521 to 530, while the José Antonio Echeverría Technological University of Havana (Cujae) is on the thousand-thousand scale 200.

The UH, the oldest center of its kind in Cuba, is considered a cultural and identity reference for the nation and recognized for its academic excellence, social relevance, and the high quality of its processes.

For its part, the UCLV is the most interdisciplinary in the country, with an enrollment of 11 thousand 497 students and two thousand 36 professors located in 12 faculties.

Meanwhile, the Cujae contributes to the sustainable development of society through the comprehensive training of professionals committed to the Revolution, science, and innovation specifies the institutional page of that academic headquarters.

The QS World University Rankings each year evaluate three thousand universities and consider approximately nine thousand of the world.
