Cuba will attend the FITUR in Madrid on January 23


HAVANA, Jan. 20th Manuel Marrero Cruz, Minister of Tourism, will head the Cuban delegation at the fair. The Presidents and Commercial Vice Presidents of the Travel Agencies and hotel chains and associates such as Iberostar, Blue Diamond, Muthis, Roc Hotels, Accor, NH, Barceló, Valentin, Kempinski, Melía Hotels, etc. will also attend.

The Cuban Medical Services, Palco and Paradiso will also be present, as well as the Viajes Cuba and Cubasol Business Groups. José Castelar Cairo (Cueto), will be on behalf of Caracol, who is the winner of several Guinness records for creating the longest cigars in the world.

Cuban tourism last year reached 167 thousand 970 visitors and continues as the main market in the Iberian country. In this year they aim to increase the diversity of the products that are distributed in that sector.
