Cuba travel launches Shuttle service Airport - Havana

HAVANA, Nov 23. The Cuba Travel company announced this Monday on its Twitter account the tourist offer called ‘Shuttle Aeropuerto Habana’,that has the “main objective to satisfy the transportation needs” of the travellers who arrive at the country to vacation.

According to information on the network, this service has three travel routes that include the hotel and recreational areas of Vedado, Old Havana and Playa.

The buses will pick up tourists at the air terminal and then transport them on the Vedado route to the Meliá Cohíba, Presidente, Vedado, Nacional and Habana Libre hotels.

On the Old Havana route, the tour includes the Parque Central hotel, the Museum of the Revolution, the Hostal Palacio de O’Farrill, the Castillo de la Real Fuerza and the Armadores de Santander hotel.

Those who decide to go the Beach route will pass by the Comodoro, Memories, Panorama and Copacabana hotels.

Cuba Travel also explains that the cost of this service can be paid onboard the bus by card or use the EnZona App by scanning the QR code; in the rental offices of Cubacar and in those of the travel agencies, as well as online payment through the rentcarcuba.com page.

This new service opens a few days after the authorities opened the Cuban borders for the start of the high season for tourism on the island, after an improvement in the epidemiological situation in the national territory.
