HAVANA, Aug. 7 (RHC) Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister, Carlos Fernandez de Cosio, on Saturday thanked demonstrations for assistance from organizations and people from the United States and offered technical advice from the government to tackle the fire. in the city of Matanzas.
“We deeply appreciate condolences and expressions of assistance from various organizations and persons from the United States on the occasion of the incident in #Matanzas, including the United States Government, which provided technical advice, a proposal already in the hands of professionals for proper coordination,” emphasized a diplomat.
In this sense, the Cuban President, Miguel Diaz-Canel, thanked on the social network Twitter for the presentation of technical advice by the US government and expressed his deep gratitude to the governments of Mexico, Venezuela, Russia, Nicaragua, Argentina and Chile for the prompt assistance provided in the face of the complex situation.
The Embassy of the United States of America in Cuba confirmed in the same social network that it is in contact with the authorities of our country regarding the large-scale incident that occurred in the Western Province.
