Cuba to Host International Fair on Packaging

HAVANA, Feb 4 (PL) About 50 companies from 11 countries will participate in the first edition of Pacgraf Cuba, a monographic fair for the packaging and graphic artssectors, which will begin on February 7, organizers confirmed today.

Companies from Spain, Germany, France, Panama, the United States, Colombia, Poland, Peru and the host nation will take part in the three-day event at the Pabexpo fairgrounds in Havana, Claire Gracia , representative of Fira de Barcelona stated at a press conference.

This Spanish entity and the Cuban business group Palco assume the preparations for the event, which will mainly gather manufacturers and distributors of machinery, equipment, process technologies and accessories for the production of packaging and printing.

Also firms that supply raw materials will attend the event, as well as providers of printing and telecommunications services, stated Fira de Barcelona.

The Center for the Promotion of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment in Cuba (ProCuba) and the Chamber of Commerce in this Caribbean nation encourage the business rounds that will take place during Pacgraf from February 7 to 9, it was informed during the dialogue with journalists.
