HAVANA, Oct 16 Cuba defeated France two sets to zero today and won the title as an undefeated player in the first edition of the Youth Baseball World Cup 5, based in the Turkish capital Ankara.The Cubans once again imposed the superiority exhibited throughout the contest and won with partial scores of 6-3 and 2-1, with the highlight being the closing one, achieved in an extra inning when with a 1-1 tie the victory was achieved.

The largest of the Antilles opened with its main formation, with two women, Amanda Díaz and Haila González, and three men, captain Jadier Ulloa, Josué Gutiérrez and Alexander González.
