HAVANA, Oct. 24th (HT) For those tourists planning to visit Cuba’s famed Cayo Coco’s resorts this fall/winter high season, there is some good news just out from Prensa Latina.
The Jardines del Rey international airport has resumed operations after repairs were made in the wake of Hurricane Irma, which passed through the northern coast of Cuba in early September,
Located on Cayo Coco, on the northern coast of the central Cuban province of Ciego de Avila, Irma’s strong winds caused the terminal to lose part of its roof and destroyed metal and woodwork, among other damage.

Work continues on Cayo Coco to ready the hotels for the upcoming tourist season that will take place in Cuba from November to April 2018, noted Prensa Latina.
