Cuba aims to boost high-end tourism with luxury Hotels

HAVANA, Jan. 25th  (Xinhua)  Havana’s skyline is gradually looking glitzier as luxury hotels rise above the cobblestone streets of the capital. In the past year and a half, the island’s first two luxury hotels, considered five-star-plus, have opened in the city’s historical downtown area, known as Havana Vieja, or Old Havana.

HAVANA, Jan. 20th Manuel Marrero Cruz, Minister of Tourism, will head the Cuban delegation at the fair. The Presidents and Commercial Vice Presidents of the Travel Agencies and hotel chains and associates such as Iberostar, Blue Diamond, Muthis, Roc Hotels, Accor, NH, Barceló, Valentin, Kempinski, Melía Hotels, etc. will also attend.

Caribbean Airlines opens ticket office in Cuba

HAVANA, Jan. 16th Caribbean Airlines has opened a new ticket office in Havana, Cuba, to provide enhanced reservations, sales, and ticketing services to its customers. Caribbean Airlines will be represented by ‘Commercial Take Off’, Cuba’s leading Passenger Sales Agent provider, (PSA) who will be the airline’s exclusive partner in Cuba.
