Andrea Bocelli will perform in Havana for the 500th anniversary

HAVANA, Nov. 8th The renowned Italian tenor, Andrea Bocelli, will sing in Havana during the celebrations for the 500th anniversary of its foundation.

According to Cuban Tourism Minister Manuel Marrero, Bocelli will be presented on December 28.

“Havana will host important celebrations with renowned national and international artists; as the tenor Andrea Bocelli, who will sing in Wonder City on December 28. We invite all UK customers to join this celebration, ”said Marrero at the World Travel Market (WTM) in London. At the moment, no media has given the news, which was published on the official website of the Ministry of Tourism of Cuba.

This presentation will be an event in the Cuban capital, since on Bocelli Island he is a well-known artist, mainly for songs such as “For you, I will fly”, “I live for her” or his version of “Kiss me a lot”.

From Lajatico, Pisa, Italy, Andrea Bocelli was born on September 22, 1958, with congenital glaucoma that left him partially blind. However, at age 12, because of a blow to the head during a football game, the blindness became total.

For his great musical success, on March 2, 2010, Bocelli was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
