Abercrombie & Kent announces its return to Cuba in October

HAVANA, May 21 Abercrombie & Kent returns to Cuba for the first time since 2019. Starting next October, A&K will offer a town-to-town trip in small groups that begins in Camagüey and ends in Havana.The Cuba: People, Art and Culture trip will expose travelers to the culture, art, food and history of Cuba.

Highlights include a talk with a former Cuban diplomat about U.S.-Cuba relations, as well as a rum and cigar pairing with a cigar expert.

Visitors will experience the Cuban arts through private ballet rehearsals, art studio visits, musical performances and interactive ceramics workshops. The itinerary also covers agrarian life with visits to ranches and meetings with local farmers.

“We are excited to return to Cuba, a multifaceted island just 90 miles from the U.S., but one that offers a rich history and distinctive culture that very few Americans have experienced firsthand,” said Stefanie Schmudde, senior vice president. of global product strategy at Abercrombie & Kent, in a company statement.

Travelers will also explore landmarks such as the Che Guevara Mausoleum in Santa Clara and the Museum of the Revolution in Havana.

The new itinerary, limited to 18 travelers per departure, begins in Camagüey, passes through Trinidad and the Valle de los Ingenios, and then through Cienfuegos, before arriving in Santa Clara and ending in Havana.
