24th Habano Festival begins as a highlight for Cuba

HAVANA, Feb 26  The start today in the capital of the 24th edition of the Havana Festival constitutes an enhancement for this country because said event prevails despite economic difficulties and other setbacks.This meeting, scheduled from February 26 to March 1, has the attention not only of cigar smokers in the world but also of producers and professionals in the industrial sector related to this article.

Despite the impact of COVID-19 and trade restrictions imposed on this country by the United States as part of the blockade, the meeting was held and sought digital formulas to continue its relationship with those who serve cigars on the planet.

Now, the new version of the appointment has an impact on more than a thousand people from about 70 countries, in person, and a good part of people with follow-up of the appointment electronically.

A press conference for the first day, the opening of the Trade Fair, and different meetings of the organizers welcome the first day of sessions with the usual headquarters at the Havana Convention Palace.

Likewise, the Habanos World Challenge Contest is included, as well as samples related to cigars, such as utensils, humidors, and works of art, among other products.

This year, the brands honored are Quai D Orsay and Trinidad (55th Anniversary), very special and in demand by demanding smokers. International seminars, Habanos Moments, keynote talks, tastings and various meetings complement an extremely interesting program.

As always, the closure is scheduled for the Pabexpo fairgrounds, where the presence of 1,200 people has already been confirmed.
