From the survey application we learned about user concerns, mainly related to the tariffs, the possibility of acquiring wireless equipment for the connection and obtaining more help information on the Nauta portal, he revealed.
Based on this, the relationship between prices and connection speed was modified, for which the user pays, ie, if previously for 15 pesos in freely convertible currency (cuc) it contracted a bandwidth of 256 kilobytes per second ( kb / s), today for that same price gets a megabyte (mb / s), clarified.
Odalys Rodríguez del Toro, director of the Havana Division of ETECSA, clarified that the entity assumed the commitment to allow access to Nauta Hogar from at least one area of each municipality, which will occur gradually.
We are studying the rest of the territories of the province to identify those with better technical conditions in the network, that allow to offer a service of quality, stated the directive.
The possibility of accessing the Internet from Nauta Hogar, Wi-Fi hotspots, navigation rooms and state entities, responds to the national policy of promoting computerization of Cuban society.
